Cashier guards, also known as cashier shields, can be made from either glass or polycarbonate. FRG’s proprietary “Perma Shield” is a Cashier Guards installed to work on any surface whether it be wood, granite, tile, etc. We anchor the stainless steel post to the surface using stainless steel hardware, and attach the 10mm clear tempered glass to the stainless steel posts with standoffs. The Cashier Shields also provides additional security for the person behind the counter as it is permanently anchored to the surface. FRG will come to site and measure out the area where you need the Shield and provide shop drawings for your approval.
